Seasonal Gardener

Colorado Chautauqua is hiring! We are located at the base of Boulder’s Flatirons, one of only 25 National Historic Landmarks in Colorado with its own unique history and historic charm. We hope you will consider joining our team!

The Facilities and Grounds team is currently looking for part-time, and full-time Seasonal Gardeners (mid-April thru early October). Responsibilities include planting and caring for flowers, shrubs, trees planters, gardens and lawns located throughout the park.

As a Seasonal Gardener, you will need the following:

·         Experience in landscape maintenance work, familiarity with hand tools, a plus

·         Physical ability to perform tasks requiring continuous walking, standing, bending, etc.

·         Ability to work outdoors in varied weather conditions

And you are:

•         Punctual and reliable
•         A high energy team player with a positive, can-do attitude
•         Self-motivated and able to work independently
•        An active learner with a strong sense of curiosity
•        Comfortable in conversing with individuals from a variety of       backgrounds
