TITLE:  Beyond Vision Skills Trainer
PRIMARY OFFICE:  Boulder or Thornton (employee’s choice)
FLSA/EMPLOYEE STATUS: Part-Time (20 hrs./wk.); Non-exempt
PAY & BENEFITS: $19-$21/hr. and benefits include: Employee Assistance Program (EAP); 401(k); vacation time, holidays, sick time and personal days.

SUMMARY:  Implements the Beyond Vision program for people with visual impairments or blindness by facilitating low-vision support groups, providing one-on-one skills training, and meeting outreach goals.  The individual in this position will serve as a role model and mentor for people with disabilities within the community, and maintain positive and effective relationships with CPWD staff and partner agencies.  Primarily provides Beyond Vision services to the Denver Metro region but may also need to serve the Boulder County region, as needed
