    The Trust Operations/Administrative Specialist is a pivotal member of our boutique Trust, Estate and Investment Services team, dedicated to providing a personalized touch that exceeds customer expectations.     The day-to-day

    Expect a dynamic mix of tasks: handling security settlements and processing transactions; managing customer communication; taking on daily organizational and administrative tasks that keep the department running smoothly; and lending a hand to team members when needed. You will be at the heart of interactions, liaising with our team, clients, and fellow bank colleagues, as well as external professionals like accountants and attorneys.

    What you bring to High Plains Bank…

    • Experience

      • Banking/office experience preferred but not required.

    • Qualifications

      • High School diploma or equivalent

      • Associate Degree or higher would be welcomed

    • Essential Skills

      • Proficiency in Microsoft Office or Google Suite

      • Effective written and verbal communication

      • Self-managed

      • Strong attention to detail and accuracy 

    • Desirable skills

      • Spanish speaking a plus but not required

    Responsibilities of the position…

    • Key Accountabilities

      • Cash receipt processing - addition to accounts, dividend and interest, rent, and miscellaneous receipts

      • Payment processing - Bill payment, fee assessments, miscellaneous disbursements

      • Administrative duties - creating reports and tracking progress, variety of office duties

      • Daily reconciliations

    • Other Responsibilities

      • Supporting Trust Officers and Trust Administrator as needed

      • Adaptability, taking on tasks as necessary 

      • Desire to be involved in the community; your participation and involvement in bank sponsored events is encouraged as a part of our High Plains Bank culture

    Target compensation range

    • $45,000-$55,000 yearly based on experience and qualifications, other factors may be considered.

    Physical Requirements

    • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer

    Location and Schedule

    • In person at our Longmont, CO Main Street Office

    • 8-5 Monday - Friday
