 Seeking Full Time Exempt Donor Relations Manager for Nationally Recognized Non-Profit Creating an Equitable Community   Do you believe, regardless of economic, social class, or race, life for all can and should be filled with equitable opportunities? Do you believe a stronger community begins with our youth? Then we want you to be our Donor Relations Manager to serve as a key member of the Development & Communications department. You will create a process and be responsible for qualifying, cultivating, socializing and stewarding individual donors with emphasis on current and planned gifts. This position will also play an integral role in refining and executing a formal moves management program to support our work. This position will oversee and track new and existing donors by managing internal databases. This position will report to the Director of Development and Communications and is located in the Boulder office with some flexibility to work from home.  PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES 
  
    Implementing fundraising programs and strategies to cultivate new and existing individual donors to increase their engagement and contribution to the organization.
    Manage and improve the process for communicating with existing Dreamer Scholar Sponsors (portfolio of 450+) ensuring annual payment of pledges, acknowledgements and tax credit forms
    Steward and manage relationships and deliverables with all private scholarship donors 
  
    In partnership with the CEO and the Development Director, manage the 200+ Tier 1 portfolio to develop fundraising opportunities and strategies to increase donations
    Develop a personalized,  strategic and streamlined End of Year communication plan to pledged supporters to ensure they continue contributions
    Drive, initiate and manage the bi-annual Impact Report process with support from the Marketing and Communications Manager 
  
    With support from the Marketing & Communications Manager, plan, organize, and execute the annual VIP Donor Appreciation Celebration and Annual Legacy Insider’s Event  QUALIFICATIONS 
  
    Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in nonprofit management, business management, marketing, or fundraising, with a proven track record in successful fundraising. 
  
    Minimum five to seven years experience in nonprofit development/fundraising 
    Minimum three years experience in a position soliciting individuals at the major and special gifts level.
    Knowledge of nonprofit fundraising techniques, including individual donor cultivation, public relations, and marketing, with demonstrated ability soliciting major gifts and developing strategies for others to solicit major gifts. 
    Knowledge of the Boulder County philanthropic community is a plus, with ability and desire to connect with a wide range of individuals and groups. 
    Strong passion for the work of “I Have A Dream,” and the ability to effectively articulate the organization’s vision to a diverse audience of community members.  COMPENSATION   Physical and Cognitive Requirement Necessary to Perform This Job 
  
    Some evenings, weekends required
    Ability to travel to and from meetings and appointments in locations and times when public transportation is unavailable
