Group Sales Manager

Colorado Chautauqua is hiring! We are located at the base of Boulder’s Flatirons, one of only 25 National Historic Landmarks in Colorado with its own unique history and historic charm. We hope you will consider joining our team!

CCA’s sales team is currently looking for a full-time Group Sales Manager. This is a full time, year-round, benefited, exempt position focused on generating and developing new, referred and repeat group business; promoting guest lodging and function space to maximize revenue; working closely across departments to ensure that all details are communicated, and ensure a successful guest experience. Travel, working weekends, as well as some evenings, are required in meeting position responsibilities.

As Group Sales Manager, you will need the following:

·         3 or more years working in a sales environment.

·         Strong administrative, support, managerial and hospitality experience required.

·         Accurate and efficient data entry skills, and an acute eye for detail.

•      Background in conference sales and service preferred. 
•       Nonprofit experience desired.

·         Are a superior communicator, both verbal and written.

·         A creative and analytical thinker.

·         Demonstrate a high level of professionalism, discretion, and commitment to guest satisfaction.

•       Are a high energy team player with a positive, can-do attitude.

·         Strive to exceed expectations and goals.

•    Are self-motivated and able to work independently.
•     Are comfortable in conversing with individuals from a variety of backgrounds.

Starting Salary Range: $56,000 to $58,000
