Job Summary

BVO is looking for motivated hard workers to participate in our optical manufacturing production line. The ideal candidate works well in a fast-paced environment, takes pride in detailed-oriented work, handles production time pressures and enjoys "hands-on" work. The candidate will focus on manufacturing orders, cleaning glass substrates and working with our engineering team. Advancement in skills and exposure to global customers are guaranteed to the employee who shows hustle, ambition, aptitude and competency.

Job Responsibilities:

Laboratory and Technical

Cleaning, handling and assembly of glass raw materials
Cleaning, manufacturing and visual inspection of optical components to specifications Proper handling and packaging of critical, fragile optical components
Quality control and testing of optical components

Job Requirements

Must be authorized to work in USA
Must speak English
Verbal and written communication skills in English
Willingness and ability to quickly learn new processes/procedures
Must have a steady hand with dexterity and eye-hand coordination to inspect, clean and assemble small high precision optics
Shift from one task to another to address changing production priorities
Ability to work independently or with a team in an efficient manner, must be a detail-oriented person and have pride in workmanship

Location requirements

Location type – Onsite at BVO headquarters
Onsite location - Boulder, Colorado, United States of America
Time requirements
Schedule - Full time
Employment duration – Permanent after 3 month probation period
Compensation and benefits
Expected pay - $18 - $23 per hour depending on experience and productivity
Benefits – Medical, 2 weeks of vacation, IRA retirement after one year working
